The Focus

Great Mix of Numbers & Size

The most consistent fishing trip in the Amazon! This beautiful barge roams the enormous Rio Negro basin from mid-November through March, concentrating on accessing productive waters.

With hundreds of miles of complex, island-dotted archipelagos and dozens of fish-laden tributaries, this is the world's largest peacock bass fishery – and the Adventurer is built to take advantage of it. Its great mobility and shallow-draft displacement hull let us go where conditions are best at a moment's notice.

THE TRIP

This premium accommodation, moves into the enormous Rio Negro basin from December to February. Accessing some of the complex shallow backwaters and less accessible fish-laden regions in this basin can be challenging - but this vessel can get to any part of it. With its 16” draft, this barge flagship lets you go anywhere, even where others can’t.

If you're looking for an intimate group size in luxurious accommodations with lots of fishing action, plenty of trophy fish in the teens and a real shot at 20+ pound monsters, then this is the trip for you. Good daily catch averages (from 20 to 40 per day). Fish over 20 pounds are taken here routinely.

Private cabins or king-sized couples suites - Space is limited to 8 anglers per trip with floatplane only access.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Luxurious and Comfortable - The Barge is a fishing mothership of the highest caliber. The list of her luxurious features is long. Here are just a few:

  • Private bathrooms w/sink, toilet and hot shower in each cabin.
